Traditional basket-making
The workshops are run by a craftsman, Andrzej Zwawa, who specialises in traditional basket-making, and other objects made of wicker.
He ran the workshops in the ECOCENTRE which were part of the 'Vanishing Occupations’ project.

ECOCENTRE ICPPC – – International Coalition to Protect the Polish Countryside www.eko-cel.pl is launching a series of lectures – in English – on environmental and ecological practices that everyone should know and care about. These lectures will be presented by Sir Julian Rose, the internationally respected organic farmer, environmentalist and the President of ICPPC. The lectures will take place in the clay-straw eco-barn situated at ICPPC’s headquarters in Stryszow, Malopolska.

Arriving at Stryszow, traditional village in Malopolska, 50 km from Krakow. Since 14:00 – Accommodation in the farmhouse POTOCZEK www.potoczek.pl near ECOCENTRE ICPPC;
18:00 dinner based on products from traditional and organic local farms;
Underground tank
Pin it In the underground tank by the corner of the building we store up to 500 litre of rain water collected from the roof. We use it for watering our organic garden.
