It was built in 1901 and is made of wood and stone.

The ecological technologies that are used in this house include: solar-thermal collectors – these use solar energy to heat water and provide hot water from spring to autumn (around 6 months). One flat collector (one metre by two metres) heats 80 to 100 litres of water – the amount that can be accumulated in an average boiler.

A Sun-2-U skylight – the dome that can be seen on the roof is a part of it. The skylight brings natural sunlight into a dark hall. A reflective flexible pipe ending with a diffuser is lead through the attic, and even on cloudy days the hall is illuminated with pleasant natural sunlight.
